Dear colleagues,

It is with great regret that ASTFE will not hold the 5th Thermal and Fluids Engineering Conference (TFEC) in April 5-8, 2020, in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. Due to the mounting concerns regarding the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus, the TFEC 2020 meeting venue was cancelled by the Sheraton hotel.

The ASTFE Board of Directors approved a postponement of the 5th Thermal and Fluids Engineering Conference to Spring of 2021, as TFEC 2021, in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. The exact dates will be determined soon.

ASTFE appreciates your contributions to the TFEC 2020. To minimize the impact of this postponement, the following options are available to you regarding the accepted papers and abstracts and paid registration fees:

1. Transfer your paid conference registration to the postponed conference and lock-in the current rate (i.e., do nothing and you will remain registered for the 2021 conference at the current rate).
2. Publish your papers or abstracts online in "Special Collection of Papers, Extended Abstracts, and Presentations from TFEC 2020", including accompanied recorded presentation posted online with a reduced registration fee.
3. Request a full refund with a moderate processing fee.
